Wing™ is a kneeling chair designed for the workspace. Its angled seat allows for an open hip angle, promoting an upright posture where the neck, shoulders, and spine are aligned. With a swivel base and wheels for easy mobility, Wing™ helps you stay comfortable and focused throughout the day.
Move with ease
Wing™ features a swivel base on wheels that lets you move effortlessly around your workspace, whether you are focused at your desk or switching between tasks. The angled seat encourages an upright posture that keeps your spine and core engaged. While the seat is static and fixed to the base, the shin cushions offer some flexibility allowing the angle to adjust to your body and various positions. Place one foot on the floor to move while seated and for variation from the kneeling posture the chair allows.

Materials
Wing™ consists of a powder coated-aluminum base and upholstered seat and shin cushions. The cushions are connected by a curved piece of beech and ash plywood which is treated with a water-based black lacquer. Wing™ is available in a wide range of upholstery textiles and leathers.
Suitable for
- Wing™ can be used by tabletops ranging from approximately 74 cm up to 90 cm
- Wing™ has been tested for use by individuals up to 110 kg
- Wing is a suitable sitting alternative for individuals between 150 cm and 205 cm.
- Individuals over 180 cm might find the sitting experience more enjoyable at higher seat heights as this allows for sufficient space for the legs and feet to move freely

Peter Opsvik
Peter Opsvik (1939 - 2024) was a Norwegian industrial designer, and stands as one of the most influential figures in ergonomic design. Throughout his career, much of which was spent as a freelance industrial designer, Opsvik shaped the way we think about comfort and functionality. Opsvik's philosophy and design approach are integral to the Varier identity, and we continue to maintain a close collaboration with his team, working with one commitment - to reimagine the way we sit.
